Community Service

The Indonesian Children Home serves the community through the Student Center by providing tutoring program for the community children around the dormitory, celebrated Christmas with community children, and hold seminars and revival meetings for young people in Sumba.

Tutoring program for Sumba children that facilitated by Indonesian Children Home – East Sumba hold 3 classes every week, such as :

English Class, Math Class and Reading & Writing Class.

More than 150 children attend this program every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 3.30 – 5.00 PM.

Due to the global pandemic situation, the tutoring program had to be postpone until the situation is getting better and more safe for the children.
